    As a Senior Editor, you will lead the curation and presentation of high-impact content across multiple digital platforms, influencing what millions of users see daily. You will balance editorial judgment with audience engagement, managing breaking news, lifestyle, entertainment, sports, and finance coverage. This role requires expert headline writing, image selection, and content strategy while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You will track performance metrics, optimize content distribution, and maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure high-quality, engaging experiences. The position thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and calls for adaptability, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail. Your work will shape the digital experience for a vast audience while upholding journalistic standards and ethics.

    Accountabilities:

    • Program and curate content for the homepage and other digital platforms, including headline writing, image selection, and video integration.
    • Support breaking news coverage and ensure timely, accurate reporting across desktop, mobile, and app platforms.
    • Collaborate with editorial, product, and other internal teams on special projects, new modules, and content development initiatives.
    • Execute coverage plans for major events and tentpole stories across multiple categories.
    • Monitor content metrics and analytics to inform strategy and audience engagement decisions.
    • Manage relationships with key publishers and content partners as needed.
    • Uphold journalistic standards, ethics, and editorial consistency in all curated content.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of editorial experience in writing, content programming, or curation for high-traffic digital platforms.
    • Strong familiarity with web content management systems, information architecture, and metadata.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high professionalism.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in AP style, copy-editing, and Google Enterprise tools.
    • Comfort working a Thursday–Monday schedule, covering weekend and evening hours Eastern Time.
    • Adaptable, solution-oriented, and able to thrive under changing priorities.
    • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple editorial projects simultaneously.
