Senior Embedded Engineer – Control Systems & Software Development (m/f/d)

Develop algorithms and workflows in C++
Program low-level software in close collaboration with adjacent departments
Create and expand component and module tests
Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development processes
Monitor and analyze software quality and initiate measures to ensure it
Design and develop control systems for medical devices (e.g., drives, ovens, instrument control)
Select and implement suitable control strategies for various physical systems
Harmonize control concepts across product lines to improve efficiency and reusability
Apply model-based development approaches (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate and validate control systems
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related technical field
Several years of experience developing embedded systems, ideally in the medical technology sector
Strong knowledge of C++ and/or digital control engineering
Experience with Embedded Linux, MATLAB/Simulink, and model-based development is a plus
Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their use in safety-critical systems
Enjoy working in agile teams and tackling complex technical challenges
Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
