This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Transcard. We are currently looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer in Tennessee (USA).

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge payment orchestration platforms, building and maintaining high-performance, secure, and responsive web applications. As a Senior Front End Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a mixed local and remote team to design and implement user interfaces, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with backend systems. The role involves mentoring junior developers, participating in architecture discussions, and contributing to system improvements that directly impact both business operations and customer experience. This position emphasizes innovation, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration in a fully remote environment.

Accountabilities

• Design, architect, and implement responsive web applications using Microsoft Blazor and modern web technologies.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, secure, and well-documented C# code.
• Assist in analyzing legacy ASP.NET applications and migrating them to modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT Operations, and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Architect microservices frameworks, recommend design patterns, and participate in solution planning.
• Mentor and coach developers to adhere to secure coding practices and organizational standards.
• Perform software testing, debugging, and performance monitoring for new and existing applications.
• Provide project status updates and recommend system improvements and upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotations and occasional overtime to support critical production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional development experience using .NET technologies.
• Strong experience in building responsive web applications using Angular, React, or Microsoft Blazor.
• Expertise in .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server; experience with .NET Core, TFS, and Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of secure handling of sensitive data (PCI, PII, PHI) in web applications.
• Experience designing enterprise applications for high-volume transactions in cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration in a distributed team.
• Ability to analyze and recommend UI design patterns and implement technical solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience in financial services or ERP development.
• Experience with SOAP and REST APIs, data integration solutions, and Microsoft Azure.
• Formal security training such as SANS certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
