    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of NTT Global Data Centers. We are currently looking for a Senior Hyperscale Solutions Engineer in Alabama, USA.

    This role provides a unique opportunity to design and implement large-scale hyperscale data center solutions in a highly collaborative, technically advanced environment. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to translate complex client requirements into innovative electrical and mechanical designs. The position allows you to lead pre-sales technical engagements, oversee design execution, and influence cutting-edge infrastructure deployments while staying current with industry trends. This role combines strategic problem-solving, technical expertise, and client engagement, all within a dynamic and growing enterprise technology environment.

    Accountabilities

    • Execute technical solutioning for hyperscale client requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with sales representatives, subject matter experts, design management, and construction teams to deliver complex electrical and mechanical solutions.
    • Gather client requirements and prepare comprehensive technical response packages for proposals and RFPs.
    • Drive innovation within the solutions team by staying current on industry trends and emerging technologies.
    • Support contract and lease reviews in coordination with legal teams to ensure alignment with client and organizational requirements.
    • Lead cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless integration of solutions and successful project delivery.
    • Develop bills of materials, scope of work, and technical documentation to support large-scale deployments.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field; Professional Engineer registration preferred.
    • Prior experience in hyperscale data center technical roles, including pre-sales support, design consulting, or construction.
    • Strong expertise in electrical and mechanical data center systems, including liquid cooling, fault-tolerant power, and redundancy measures.
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, CFD modeling, Visio, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Salesforce.
    • Demonstrated ability to present technical solutions effectively to groups of all sizes.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills to manage complex technical challenges.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multi-site, cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with competitive offerings and ability to position solutions effectively.
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% and work remotely with a reliable internet connection.
