    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Axsome Therapeutics. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial Data Operations in New York (USA).

    This role offers the opportunity to lead the management and optimization of commercial data critical to driving business decisions and operational success. The position focuses on data governance, warehouse management, integration projects, and analytics enablement to support strategic commercial initiatives. You will collaborate with IT, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure high-quality, actionable data. The role requires a hands-on approach to data architecture, stewardship, and reporting in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ideal candidates are analytical, proactive, and comfortable working on-site multiple days per week, with a strong focus on delivering insights that influence business strategy. This position provides exposure to cutting-edge technologies and commercial datasets while contributing to meaningful business outcomes.

    Accountabilities:

    • Manage commercial data strategy, data quality, stewardship, and business rules, ensuring accurate, complete, and consistent information.
    • Oversee commercial data warehouse operations and integrate multiple data sources to maximize data value.
    • Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to develop data architecture and analytics solutions using modern big data technologies.
    • Maintain and optimize commercial data processes within platforms such as Veeva Nitro, Network, Vault, and other Veeva products.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enable analytics and reporting, supporting commercial launches and operational initiatives.
    • Enhance purchased datasets and integrate them to create analytics-ready databases.
    • Stay up-to-date on best practices, new technologies, and industry trends in data and analytics.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
    • 5+ years of commercial data management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, data editing tools, and MS Office (Excel, Visio).
    • Strong knowledge of data management tools, business intelligence, and integrated data warehousing solutions.
    • Experience with commercial sales data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Sales Data).
    • Advanced experience with database systems and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
    • Familiarity with Veeva ecosystem (Nitro, Network, CRM, Vault).
    • Preferred: AWS technology experience and experience in the CNS therapeutic area.
    • Demonstrated analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong teamwork, communication, and ability to influence decisions across all organizational levels.
