Senior Manager Commercial Fleet Management (M / F / D)

Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimisation of our ULD fleet. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient utilisation of ULDs, minimising costs and maximising operational efficiency to meet the needs of our global operations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the strategic planning of load carrier fleets
Support the selection of suitable manufacturers
Develop and align ULD investment proposals
Ensuring timely load carrier supply for all existing and new customers through external sourcing or rebranding of the existing fleet; providing advice and coordinating with global regional management.
Process Owner for global net management in terms of commercially and operationally efficient supply to all existing & new customers
Manage and monitor ULD performance, including technical and operational evaluations
Conduct variance analyses
Support engineering with product modifications and improvements by manufacturers
Take responsibility for DMA as Product Owner
Ensure continuous transparency for customers and relevant interfaces

Qualifications

Completed university degree relevant to the role or equivalent qualifications through relevant training and professional experience
Relevant professional experience, preferably in the logistics field, with solid project and process management expertise, and good knowledge of operational processes in logistics organizations
Excellent German & English skills
Strong strategic, forward-thinking, and results-oriented mindset
