Senior MES Engineer – AG Solution Group

Apply now to join our MES Team as a Senior Engineer focused on implementing and improving Manufacturing Execution Systems.

What You Will Do

• Develop effective and efficient software and technical specifications that meet the client's expectations and needs.
• Draw up documentation on the activities carried out within the framework of the project.
• Supervise System Engineers within the project to ensure a high‑quality contribution within their expertise under your guidance.
• Ensure that predetermined planning and procedures are respected.
• Attend project meetings, aiming to reach consensus on the most effective and efficient solution for the client.
• Hold a techno‑commercial role (10 % of the time) to assist in defining project scope with the Sales Team and budgeting the actual costs as realistically as possible.

Key Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in the MES/MOM field.
• Engineering master's degree preferable, or a professional bachelor's degree in a technical subject and/or affinity with software development.
• Code‑development expertise with at least one of C#, AngularJS, SQL, Python.
• Knowledge of MES architecture solutions and implementation strategies is a plus.
• Understanding of automation systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, Batch Execution systems) is a plus.
• Experience working with multiple MES technologies (e.g., TrakSYS, Siemens Opcenter Process/Pharma, AVEVA MES) is a plus.
• Fluent English required.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• European citizenship or valid long‑term European work and stay permit.
• Ideal location: Netherlands, Belgium, France or Germany.
