POSITION

We are looking for a Cologne or Berlin based Senior Consultant / Project Manager (all genders) for the Consulting Department of HRS Enterprise Solutions to lead and manage strategic consulting projects for our global corporate customers. You will help our clients create and implement travel procurement strategies, optimise and manage their global hotel spending, and ensure a seamless travel experience for their employees. You will be responsible for project delivery together with a multinational team of consultants and manage collaboration within an agile team, including data scientists, product managers and operations managers.

CHALLENGE

• Lead multiple strategic projects for global corporate clients
• Manage hotel programmes of clients (volume up to 300 M EUR), including strategy definition, hotel procurement and continuous programme management
• Coordinate an agile team of data, product and commercial experts
• Conduct analyses and derive insights from client data and extensive HRS global benchmark data to identify hotel spend optimisation potential
• Consult HRS corporate clients and jointly derive a sourcing strategy to generate savings and ensure traveller satisfaction
• Manage and drive the sourcing projects with client team members as well as consultant peers across the world
• Conduct hotel price negotiations for key suppliers and manage negotiations with Supplier Solutions colleagues to ensure best results for our clients
• Present recommendations to clients with a management storyline and convince senior stakeholders (e.g. Procurement, Finance and Human Resource Executives)
• Support the acquisition of new customers as well as the renewal of current customers
• Work hand‑in‑hand with our global sales organisation
• Identify areas of growth both internally and externally to drive continuous innovation

REQUIREMENTS

• Approx. 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, procurement or corporate strategy roles
• Passionate about working for a global travel tech company disrupting the market
• Passionate about strategic thinking and working in a results‑oriented environment
• Confident in dealing with customers and partners in presentations and workshops
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast‑paced, challenging but rewarding job
• Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and find solutions to seemingly complex problems
• University degree (e.g., in Business Management or similar)
• Very good project management skills
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive insights from big dataExcellent MS Office skills, esp. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills, orally and in written, and skilled in leading and collaborating with interdisciplinary and international teams
• Excellent team‑building skills, ability to work well in a team and inspire others to achieve results that exceed what was believed to be possible
• Fluency in German and English spoken and written (other European languages are a plus)

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

This position will be located in Cologne or Berlin, Germany. The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility will also include an annual or multi‑year bonus.
