We are currently seeking an experienced (Senior) System Engineer with a focus on marine communication systems. This role is ideal for professionals with strong skills in Requirements-Based Engineering (RBE), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and network design.

What You’ll Do

Develop project-specific solutions for marine communication systems using RBE and MBSE
Model technical concepts, evaluate architecture trade-offs, and derive system specifications
Create functional and physical models, and manage the associated documentation
Oversee technical completion of customer acceptance procedures
Coordinate with interface partners, sub-suppliers, and internal design/development teams
Design and implement robust network solutions

What We’re Looking For

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
Solid expertise in IT and network technology (e.g., TCP/IP, Ethernet, Cisco)
Professional experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, RDNG)
Proficiency in MBSE, preferably with Enterprise Architect or comparable tools
Strong sense of ownership, independence, and a team-oriented approach
Fluent German (written and spoken); basic English skills
Willingness to travel internationally on occasion

Compensation

For senior-level candidates with 5+ years and deep RBE/MBSE/networking knowledge, this position confers a €80,000–€95,000+ gross annual salary
