Senior System Engineer (Cloud)

Join a dynamic fintech startup that analyzes millions of messages to offer valuable data insights for their customers. Buoyed by a fast-growing customer base, the company is looking for a talented Senior System Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a 100% remote position.

What You'll Be Doing :

1. Enhance the capabilities of PHP Trace SDK in our Distributed PHP Tracer
2. Build new libraries and frameworks for Distributed PHP Tracer
3. Improve the performance of our Distributed PHP Tracer
4. Run and maintain PHP OpenTracing SDK, detect and fix tickets regarding any of the above issues, and enhance PHP monitoring capabilities

What You'll Bring to the Role :

1. Hands-on experience with common debugging tools like GDB
2. Strong skills in profiling, performance optimization, Docker, and Docker setups
3. Fluent in written and spoken English
4. Must have an EU work permit
5. Strong professional experience in C language
6. Knowledge of PHP internals
7. Solid hands-on experience with PHP is advantageous
