We are looking for a (Senior) Web Analytics Engineer (all genders) to join our Insights & Analytics team in Frankfurt. As a (Senior) Web Analytics Engineer, you will be passionate about turning data into actionable insights and thrive at the intersection of technology, analytics, and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement analytics tracking to capture user interactions across our clients’ web platforms.
• Implement advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and build robust tracking frameworks to monitor performance.
• Manage cookie consent solutions to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and enhance user transparency and control over data collection.
• Implement server-side tagging solutions to capture data beyond client-side interactions and improve data accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze web traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to identify optimization opportunities across the entire conversion funnel.
• Deliver data-driven recommendations to boost website performance, user engagement, and conversion rates.
• Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest trends, tools, and regulations in web analytics.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics; knowledge of additional tools is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, or SQL.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager).
• Hands-on experience with cookie consent management (e.g., OneTrust) and server-side tagging.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a bonus.
• Excellent analytical thinking and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
