Responsibilities

• Contribution to the development of safety‑critical embedded real‑time software for aircraft systems (RTCA/DO‑178B Level A to D)
• Autonomous work according to AES and project‑specific processes
• Support tailoring of development processes to project needs
• Define software high‑level requirements and develop low‑level specifications
• Implement software in C, debug, integrate, and analyze
• Design or adapt internal and external interfaces
• Prepare “Statement of Works” for potential suppliers
• Control configuration and manage changes using applicable CM tools (e.g., Synergy, Dimensions)

Requirements

• Graduate or equivalent experience in software engineering
• At least 3 years of software development experience
• Good English communication skills (B2 CEFR)
• High flexibility and adaptability
• Experience with specification of high‑level and low‑level software requirements (SRS, SDDD)
• Technical review experience
• Programming in C and/or Assembler
• Familiarity with V‑model development and safety‑critical standards (RTCA/DO‑178)
• Experience with hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing
• Python scripting for test automation
• Use of InCircuit Debugger (Lauterbach)
• MISRA C guidelines knowledge
• DOORS experience
• Configuration management using SVN or IBM Rational Synergy/Change, or Serena Dimensions
• Knowledge of IBM Rational Test Real‑Time
