About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our Software Quality and Data Engineering teams. This role combines technical leadership with people management, focusing on driving excellence in software quality, test automation, and data engineering practices. You will be expected to contribute hands-on, mentor engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our platforms are robust, scalable, and data-driven.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and guide teams of engineers across the field of software industrialization
• Coach, mentor, and train individuals to bring them to their best potential
• Identify and remove roadblocks to ensure the team can concentrate on showing optimal performance
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and ownership
• Actively participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and hands-on development when needed
• Ensure that the team’s work in planning and implementation meets organizational needs and quality expectations
• Drive continuous improvements in software workflows and productivity

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in C++ and Python development environments
• Demonstrated experience as a technical or team leader, including performance coaching and career growth for engineers
• Extensive experience developing production quality software in a Linux environment
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and drive roadmaps in an agile environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills in global environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of build tools and package management (Bazel)
• Familiarity with infrastructure tooling (e.g., Kubernetes, GitOps, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with leading teams as Product Owner
• Strong hands-on technical background of software development practices, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines
• Enjoy working within a dynamic and continuously evolving environment
• Able to work in cross-functional teams across organizational/geographical boundaries
• Experience developing advanced driver assistance or autonomous driving systems or similar systems such as robotic systems
• Familiarity working on Agile teams and within frameworks such as SAFe
