Your Tasks:

• Independent development of software for sonar components with C++, e.g., implementation of signal processing for active sonar or synchronization and distribution of mass data
• Evaluation, initiation, and implementation of all necessary activities within software development based on a software architecture
• Reduction of complexity through further decomposition, creation of implementation concepts and software designs, as well as connection of individual software development artifacts based on a software architecture
• Evaluation of the overall software architecture and its individual architectural elements in terms of compliance with deadlines, quality, and cost
• Coordination with the development team on own tasks, problem areas, and obstacles in task processing
• Support in the team for planning and implementing the work package

Your Profile:

• University degree in the MINT field or vocational training as an IT specialist, with vocational school training, specialized further education, and long-term professional experience or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in software development
• Excellent C++ skills (already used productively)
• Teamwork skills
• Experience in agile environments
• Additional skills that are advantageous:
• Basic knowledge of parallel systems (e.g., synchronization mechanisms between threads)
• Experience in implementing mathematical algorithms in efficient software
• Basic knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Network programming
• Digital signal processing
• Software architecture, e.g., design patterns and abstraction as tools
