Overview

SAP Fioneer is building the next generation of core and transaction banking solutions. We help banks achieve speed, scalability, and cost-efficiency through innovation, cloud-native technology, and end-to-end process coverage. As a Solution Consultant for Core & Transaction Banking (m/f/d), you will be a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, contributing to engagements that demonstrate the business value and solution fit of SAP Fioneer products. Your focus will be on positioning, demonstrating, and validating our technology in sales cycles—working closely with sales teams, product experts, and delivery colleagues to win new business. You will also identify, design, and deliver innovative solutions addressing emerging needs in the banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer-facing engagements to understand needs, uncover opportunities, and position SAP Fioneer solutions
• Translate complex business requirements into high-impact solution designs
• Identify and assess emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes impacting core and transaction banking
• Drive RFIs/RFPs from a solution perspective, ensuring proposals are compelling and value-based
• Create and deliver tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and workshops to business and IT stakeholders
• Work closely with product management to feed successful pilots into the product roadmap
• Convince decision-makers in banks globally based on technically sound solutions that drive business value
• Provide market feedback to product teams to influence roadmap and innovation focus

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in banking technology, software vendors, or consulting with pre-sales or solution engineering experience
• Strong understanding of banking processes (e.g., deposits, cards, payments)
• Track record in designing and presenting solutions as well as engaging C-level and senior stakeholders
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills, paired with hands-on mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English; German highly preferred for DACH engagements
• Familiarity with SAP and/or other core banking systems is a plus
