    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Fireye. We are currently looking for a Sr. Account Executive in Alabama (USA).

    This role offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive growth in the energy infrastructure and sustainability solutions space. The ideal candidate will engage with municipal, university, school, and hospital (MUSH) clients to deliver innovative energy and decarbonization solutions. You will manage complex, long-term contracts, influence high-level decision-makers, and develop strategic relationships. This position emphasizes consultative selling, thought leadership, and account management to create meaningful impact while contributing to organizational sustainability goals. It is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, high-stakes environment and enjoy mentoring junior team members.

    Accountabilities:

    • Lead consultative sales of energy infrastructure solutions to executive-level clients in MUSH and commercial/industrial sectors.
    • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging government ESPC and other contract vehicles.
    • Influence client decision-making by presenting innovative, compliant solutions aligned with energy and decarbonization objectives.
    • Manage the full sales funnel, including RFP/RFQ responses, strategy development, and internal/external collaboration.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and partners to strengthen market presence.
    • Mentor junior account executives and serve as a customer advocate throughout the sales and project lifecycle.
    • Represent the organization at conferences, trade associations, and industry events as a recognized leader.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience selling solutions in the MUSH sectors, energy management consulting, or design-build markets.
    • 5+ years of experience engaging with C-Level executives and public decision-makers.
    • Proven expertise in government contracts, ESPC, or alternative delivery construction markets.
    • Strong business judgment, critical thinking, and consultative selling skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal teams, clients, and public forums.
    • Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities, mentor team members, and maintain long-term client relationships.
