This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of ThinkBAC Consulting. We are currently looking for a Sr. Renewables Asset Management Analyst in United States.

In this role, you will join a fast-growing team focused on utility-scale energy storage projects within a rapidly expanding renewable energy portfolio. You will play a critical part in managing and optimizing battery storage assets, supporting both commercial and technical initiatives to ensure operational excellence. This position blends data analytics, financial oversight, and contract management to drive asset performance and long-term project success. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external partners to refine asset strategies and develop insights that directly impact the growth of renewable infrastructure. Accountabilities:

• Oversee day-to-day data analytics for utility-scale battery storage assets across ISO/RTO markets, ensuring operational efficiency post-COD.
• Support the review and coordination of asset-related contractual agreements, including PPA, O&M, transmission interconnection, project financing, and development leases.
• Develop and maintain operational budgets in collaboration with the accounting team, providing detailed financial performance reviews.
• Monitor and analyze commercial and technical KPIs to ensure project milestones are achieved and operating plants meet peak performance targets.
• Partner with third-party O&M contractors and service providers to evaluate performance and support asset optimization strategies.
• Contribute to the enhancement and utilization of a proprietary battery storage management platform for large-scale renewable projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in utility-scale renewables with a focus on asset management, portfolio management, or operations.
• Strong background in data analytics applied to renewable energy commercial asset management initiatives.
• Familiarity with portfolio financial performance optimization, including P&L management, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
• Working knowledge of contractual agreements such as PPA, O&M, and project financing structures.
• Understanding of compliance initiatives under NERC, FERC, or ISO/RTO is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success collaborating with third-party O&M providers and service partners.
• Previous roles such as Sr. Asset Analyst, Portfolio Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or similar experience in renewable energy are a strong fit.
