This role provides a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with client-facing strategy, supporting organizations in delivering secure, high-performing digital applications. The Sr. Solutions Engineer will act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating complex technical concepts into actionable solutions that drive business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with sales teams, mentoring colleagues and ensuring that solutions are aligned with client objectives. The position emphasizes problem-solving, continuous learning, and technical innovation, while offering exposure to a wide range of modern application technologies, multi-cloud architectures, and security solutions. Accountabilities

• Support sales teams with technical expertise, providing detailed solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept for customers and partners.
• Articulate product strategy, messaging, and value propositions, aligning solutions to business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding technical and business challenges to propose effective solutions.
• Mentor and educate internal teams on technical and business benefits of solutions.
• Map customer organizations, identify technical decision-makers, and drive the technical validation process in partnership with account managers.
• Deliver world-class customer service throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams, sharing best practices and contributing expertise across opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a solutions engineering or technical pre-sales role.
• Hands-on experience with traffic management and load-balancing technologies (e.g., F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp).
• Strong knowledge of HTTP, web servers, web applications, and associated protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, SMTP, DNS, etc.).
• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX systems and networking technologies, including internet security products and services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectures such as microservices, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with API development/management and DevOps tools and processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and guide customers.
• Relevant certifications or experience deploying similar industry solutions is a plus.
