Sr Staff Data Engineer (Remote - US)

This role offers the opportunity to shape and maintain the backbone of the organization’s analytics ecosystem. You will design, build, and optimize data integration processes and dimensional data models that power critical insights for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Working closely with analysts, engineers, and business leaders, you’ll ensure that data pipelines are reliable, secure, and scalable. This position blends hands-on technical work with strategic input into platform evolution, leveraging cutting-edge tools and cloud-based technologies. The impact of your work will be felt across the business, enabling smarter decisions and better outcomes.

Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data integration processes for both internal and external systems.
• Transform source data into dimensional data models that support business intelligence and analytics.
• Evaluate, configure, monitor, and maintain data integration tools in Linux-based environments (on-premises and cloud).
• Contribute to the selection and evolution of next-generation data warehouse and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data structures and model them appropriately in the analytics platform.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all platforms and integrations.

Requirements

• Strong SQL programming expertise, including use of advanced analytic functions.
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts (hierarchies, cardinality, slow-changing dimensions).
• Minimum 3 years of experience building and maintaining data warehouses.
• Proficiency with at least one data integration toolset (e.g., SnapLogic, dbt, Talend, Informatica).
• Experience with GCP BigQuery, Fivetran, dbt, SnapLogic, and Oracle Fusion preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 13+ years of experience, or equivalent Master’s/PhD with relevant industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
