    This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of generative AI solutions that transform the healthcare financial experience. You will leverage deep expertise in large language models and AI to build scalable, high-impact products that improve patient interactions and streamline workflows for healthcare organizations. Acting as a technical leader, you will mentor the AI team, guide cross-functional collaboration, and champion innovation in AI product development. The position demands a combination of creative problem-solving, rigorous experimentation, and production-level software engineering. Success in this role directly contributes to making healthcare more affordable, personalized, and accessible.

    Accountabilities:

    • Design and implement AI-powered features, including chatbots, virtual assistants, and AI-generated bill explanations, to enhance patient experience and optimize healthcare workflows.
    • Develop scalable data curation strategies, integrating diverse data sources such as text, audio, and structured data to build high-quality AI datasets.
    • Establish evaluation frameworks and metrics for generative AI solutions to monitor performance, iterate rapidly, and ensure product excellence.
    • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to AI and engineering teams, promoting best practices in AI development.
    • Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to research customer workflows, identify opportunities for AI innovation, and prototype high-impact solutions.
    • Drive strategic technical vision to maintain leadership in AI product development and influence the roadmap for new features.

    Requirements

    • 8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, with a proven track record of delivering customer-facing generative AI products.
    • Expertise in generative AI techniques, including prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and model fine-tuning.
    • Experience leading complex, cross-functional AI projects and collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams.
    • Strong foundation in both software engineering and machine learning principles, with the ability to balance experimental rigor with rapid deployment.
    • Proficiency in production-level Python and version control systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in entrepreneurial, fast-paced environments and navigate ambiguity effectively.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for technical leadership and stakeholder engagement.
