3D Designer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 3D Product Visualization Artist to join us, focusing exclusively on creating stunning, photorealistic 3D models and renders for our Amazon product listings. The primary goal of this role is to produce compelling visual assets that significantly boost conversion rates, reduce return rates, and clearly communicate product features and benefits to online shoppers.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in realistic texturing, lighting, and rendering of consumer products, and is experienced in designing lifestyle scenes that resonate with target customers.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling: Create accurate, low-to-high polygon 3D models of new and existing products based on engineering drawings, CAD files, or physical samples.
• Product Visualization: Apply realistic textures, materials, and lighting to models to achieve photorealistic, studio-quality product renders suitable for Amazons main image and secondary image slots.
• Lifestyle Scene Creation: Design and render engaging 3D environments and scenes to showcase products in a relevant, attractive, and contextual setting (e.g., a smart home device rendered in a modern living room).
• Feature Illustration: Produce technical and educational graphics, including exploded views, cutaway diagrams, and feature callout images to explain product functions and assembly.
• Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of 3D models, textures, and assets for quick reuse and iteration.
• Quality Control: Ensure all rendered assets meet Amazons strict resolution, format, and content guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the E-commerce Manager and Copywriter to ensure visual assets align perfectly with marketing messaging and product positioning.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in 3D modeling, rendering, and product visualization, with a proven focus on e-commerce or commercial advertising.
• Proven experience in designing and rendering persuasive lifestyle imagery optimized for e-commerce conversion.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of real-world lighting, material properties 
• Aesthetic Judgment: A keen eye for visual merchandising and an understanding of what drives purchases on e-commerce platforms like Amazon.
