Account Director – Social, Campaign & New Business (Berlin)

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to lead client relationships, social‑driven campaigns, and new business initiatives from our Berlin office. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and commercial responsibility.

The role

As Account Director, you are the senior client lead and the central connector across teams. You present confidently to clients, safeguard creative intent, and ensure that social and integrated campaigns are delivered within scope, timing, and budget. You also play an active role in new business, from pitch preparation to client conversion.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead senior‑level client consulting across social and integrated campaigns
  • Own and grow client relationships, including strategic upselling and scope development
  • Present campaign ideas, social strategies, and commercial frameworks to clients
  • Provide strong commercial oversight: cost awareness, budget control, and margin responsibility
  • Translate business and communication goals into clear briefs for creative and social teams
  • Work closely with social teams (content, platforms, paid media)
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and details
  • Actively support and lead new business efforts, pitches, and presentations

What you bring

  • Several years of experience as an Account Director or Senior Account Lead on the agency side
  • Strong expertise in social media, campaign mechanics, and integrated communication
  • Proven commercial and budget responsibility
  • Experience in new business and pitch environments
  • Excellent presentation and client‑facing skills
  • Structured, solution‑oriented, and collaborative mindset
