Account Executive (f/m/d) - Discrete Manufacturing Industries

What you’ll do

• Account & Customer Relationship Management: Serve as end‑to‑end account owner, manage sales of software licenses and cloud subscriptions, establish trusted relationships, and develop strategic account plans to achieve sustainable growth and revenue targets.
• Demand Generation, Pipeline & Opportunity Management: Maintain healthy pipeline, leverage internal resources, conduct white‑space analysis for upsell/cross‑sell opportunities, orchestrate sales teams, and keep accurate CRM data.
• Lead and Orchestrate Remote Account Teams: Align cross‑functional teams with customer objectives, prepare partners, and maximize value through SAP’s sales support ecosystem.
• Market Positioning: Stay informed about competitors and position SAP solutions effectively.

What you bring

• Several years of experience in complex business software or IT solutions sales
• Comprehensive understanding of Discrete Manufacturing Industries
• Proven success in business application software sales and leading team‑selling environments
• Ability to handle large transactions and lengthy campaigns in fast‑paced markets
• Strong negotiation, renewals, expansions, and upsell skills for subscription‑based solutions
• Full working proficiency in German and Business English
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, creativity, executive presence, and results‑driven mindset
• Experience working across multiple teams in a matrix organization
