Account Manager Medical East of Germany (f/d/m)

Leica Microsystems, one of Danaher’s operating companies, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales of Leica Medical Solutions in public and private hospitals/clinics across East Germany (Berlin, Brandenburg, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). The role reports to the Sales Manager Medical Central Europe and is part of the EMEA Medical Team, working remotely.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Develop and execute a local business strategy that aligns with EMEA guidelines, delivering sustainable growth and share gains based on a deep understanding of local market dynamics, future trends and the competitive landscape.
• Research and identify opportunities in line with strategic directives to generate sales, increase installed‑base penetration, upsell existing contracts and expand the portfolio of solutions sold.
• Use Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools to implement Daily Work, Standard Management, Funnel Management and Forecasting.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Numerous years of strategic selling experience in a B-to-B sales environment.
• Prior experience and a solid track record in a sales role within the medical business.
• Experience working in an international, matrix organisation.
• Experience in sales management, opportunity assessment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Scientific, Engineering, or related bachelor’s degree required.
• Fluency in German and English.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• Position requires intensive travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
