Job Overview

Smart Expansion Account Manager (f/m/d) – South Germany.
Focus: manage a well‑defined segment of Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) customers, expanding patient outreach and boosting utilization of APM technologies in community hospitals and emerging markets.

Location

Field‑based in South Germany – Primary Work Location: DEU Heidelberg, Tullastrasse. Eligibility requires ability to travel up to 80% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Increase the use of APM technologies in community hospitals and untapped opportunity accounts.
• Discover and focus on high‑potential sales prospects in under‑represented or growing markets.
• Build strong connections with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide product knowledge and training to healthcare professionals.
• Evaluate performance discrepancies and deploy tactics to reach sales goals.
• Apply influencing skills to drive buying decisions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment and deliver flawless execution.
• Track and keep opportunities up to date in a CRM system (Salesforce.com) for bi‑weekly business reviews.

Qualifications – Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3+ years of hospital sales experience.
• Effective communication and proven ability to build productive relationships and influence buying decisions.
• Fluent in German; good knowledge of English.
• Driven by internal motivation and oriented towards results.
• Ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.

Qualifications – Preferred

• Proven experience in the medical devices industry.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
• Deep understanding of the strengths and limitations of own and competitor products.

Compensation

Salary Range: 52,100.00 € – 88,600.00 € EUR Annual.
