Your Job

We are looking for an experienced Core Banking Architect to lead the design and delivery of next‑generation banking solutions using Thought Machine Vault Core and Finacle.

As an Architect for Core Banking Platforms, you will own the end‑to‑end architecture, design, and solution governance for core banking implementations. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performance banking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and solution design for core banking platforms using Thought Machine Vault Core
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Architect cloud‑native solutions on GCP, including migration strategies from legacy systems
• Drive platform setup including infrastructure sizing, environment setup, security, and compliance guardrails
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
• Design secure integrations with third‑party systems (payments, CRM, analytics, etc.)
• Oversee solution quality, architecture reviews, and best‑practice adherence
• Produce architecture documentation and conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions

Qualifications

• 15+ years in banking technology, with 8+ years as a Core Banking Architect
• Hands‑on expertise with Thought Machine Vault Core (architecture, APIs, customisation)
• Experience migrating legacy core banking systems to Vault Core
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP), microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps
• Experience setting up Thought Machine environments on public cloud
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Familiarity with global banking regulations and compliance requirements

Preferred Certifications

• Certifications in Thought Machine, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture
• Experience in digital banking, payments, fintech ecosystems
• Proven success in large‑scale core banking transformation programs
