Asset Services Officer (f/m/d)

As an Asset Services Officer you play a critical role in the overallfunctioningof Asset Services when it comes to efficiency,efficacyand compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Thisrole requires close collaboration withallOperational teams in Eschborn, Luxembourg,Pragueand Singapore. In addition, close interactions with ProjectsimpactingAsset Services, Business Management,Client facingteams, Product Management as well as with 2ndand3rd Line of Defence.

Your responsibilities:

• TheAsset Services Officeris expected to, but not limited to:
• Intervene in case of need in complex, pressing files.
• Review processes that have been identified as weak during internal or external audits, compliance,riskassuranceor internalreviewsand implementand follow up onrequiredchanges.
• Assure a streamlined way of processing events across thedifferent locationsvia regular reviews with the colleagues in other locations.
• Act astheCenterof Referencein Asset Services by sharing the knowledge and enhance the operational knowledge across all Asset Services Areas (Corporate Actions, Income and Tax).
• Create and update procedures and manuals.
• Create and update training materials in Asset Services for both newcomers and externals.
• Represent operations in Depository changes, Market changes, including Regulatory topics, market practices in for a such as ICMSA, SMPG, ECSDA etc.
• Represent Asset Services during Service Reviews with Depositories, LocalPartnersand other Service Providers.
• Support the operational readiness related activities (for example conference call or/and workshops with clientsregardingRequest for Proposals).
• Contribute to the preparation of business testing related activities e.g. Business Acceptance criteria and lead the execution of business acceptance testing.

Your profile:

• University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the banking industry with a sound knowledge of Asset Services (Corporate Actions, Income and Tax)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive - ability to tackle challenges as they arise.Strong teamplayer, collaboratively working across the Clearstream Group.
• Strong analytical skills, critical mind set and ability to solve complex problems
• Proficiencyin written and spoken English;
• Superior technical skills: proficient in the use of MS-Office applications; advanced working knowledge of Excel.
• Regular travel other locations will berequired.
