We are looking for a Backend Developer (m/f/d) with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel to support the development of a smart digital platform for hydrogen systems and energy management .

About the project

Smart H2 Filling develops digital solutions for the intelligent control and optimization of hydrogen systems. The project aims to improve energy efficiency, automate operational processes, and enable the smart use of energy and system data. Our platform connects technical infrastructure, data flows, and digital services to support the next generation of hydrogen-based energy systems.

Your responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust backend applications using PHP and Laravel

Design, build, and optimize APIs for frontend applications and external system integrations

Model and manage data structures for operational and energy-related processes

Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of backend services

Integrate third-party systems, interfaces, and data sources

Contribute to software architecture, testing, deployment, and code quality

Collaborate closely with frontend developers, product teams, and technical experts

Your profile

Proven experience as a Backend Developer in professional software projects

Strong expertise in PHP and Laravel

Solid experience in building and maintaining REST APIs

Good knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL

Experience with Git and modern development workflows

Good understanding of clean architecture, maintainable code, and scalable backend systems

Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style

Interest in energy, sustainability, or industrial technology is a plus
