Biologist as Postdoc (m/f/d)- Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München

Postdoc Position at LMU Munich: Molecular Biology of Colon Cancer (m/f/d). Duration: 3 years (E13).

Responsibilities

The applicant will study the molecular and cellular biology of colorectal cancer using advanced cellular and mouse models and state‑of‑the‑art approaches. The applicant has extensive experience in the study of proteins, gene expression, and gene regulation. Expertise in the analysis of mouse models and derived organoids is advantageous, but not required.

Qualifications

Our laboratory has been studying the role of transcription factors, such as c‑MYC and p53, and their downstream effectors, including microRNAs (miR‑34). The focus is on mechanisms of cellular plasticity in tumors and the tumor micro‑environment that enhance invasion and metastasis of colon cancer.
