Branch Manager Greater Bochum, Germany Financial Services Up to 100,000€ We are retained by a high-growth, PE-backed financial services group seeking a Branch Manager to lead a well-established office within its network. With a strong foundation and a dedicated team already in place, this is an opportunity to take full ownership of a thriving branch while leveraging the resources and expertise of a nationwide organisation. As part of a planned succession, the successful candidate will assume a leadership role that blends operational oversight, commercial strategy, and team development. Within approximately 10 months, you will step fully into the Branch Manager position—making this a rare chance to lead, grow, and leave your mark on a business unit with significant potential. This role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about client success and team performance. Key Responsibilities: Leading a branch of 8–10 professionals, specialising in industrial insurance solutions for the waste management sector. Managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflows and exceptional client service. Driving business growth through client retention, relationship building, and targeted acquisition of new customers. Overseeing commercial performance, including KPIs, budgeting, and operational efficiency. Optimising internal processes to maintain compliance and deliver best-in-class advisory standards. Collaborating with the wider corporate group to align branch strategy with organisational goals. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in financial services, fintech, or insurance; candidates from related industries with strong operational or sales backgrounds will also be considered. Demonstrated leadership capability or ambition to progress from a deputy role into full branch management. Strong commercial acumen, confident in interpreting business KPIs and understanding economic drivers. Customer-centric mindset with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to craft tailored solutions. Energetic and pragmatic approach suited to a dynamic SME environment. Personal qualities: reliable, decisive, and collaborative, with a long-term commitment to branch leadership.
