Business Analyst (m/f/d) (Process & Reporting Focus)

For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Business Analyst (Process & Reporting) (m/f/d) in Böblingen.

Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst supports the GHCX transformation by bridging process design, business requirements, and reporting needs, ensuring alignment between processes, data, and analytics.

Process Design Support

• Support design of global HC processes (L3/L4) aligned with Workday
• Identify gaps vs. standard processes and document deviations
• Contribute to process documentation (flows, SIPOC, etc.) and definition of regional exceptions

Requirements Engineering

• Translate business needs into functional requirements and reporting requirements
• Ensure alignment between process design, data structures, and reporting needs
• Ensure user‑focused and easy to understand dashboard and report development

Reporting & Analytics Alignment

• Derive reporting requirements from process design
• Align with HC stakeholders and Data Warehouse / reporting teams
• Support definition of KPIs, reporting logic, data models

Implementation Support

• Support validation of process implementation in Workday and reporting outputs
• Participate in testing phases (UAT) and feedback loops with business stakeholders

Stakeholder Management

• Act as interface between HC business teams, process & data workstream, and IT / reporting teams
• Facilitate workshops and requirement discussions

Your Skills

Must‑have

• Strong experience as business analyst in transformation projects
• Experience in process design (e.g., APQC, BPMN)
• Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements
• Experience with reporting / analytics requirements

Nice‑to‑have

• Experience in Workday or HCM transformations
• Understanding of data models and reporting architectures
• Experience in global / cross‑regional environments
