For our Corporate Business Services department, we are looking for a Business Controller (m/f/d) .
You will serve as the central contact for all controlling matters related to the CBS business area. The role ensures that planning and reporting processes within CBS are efficient, accurate, and aligned with strategic goals. Additionally, you will develop existing business cases, support management, and ensure CBS's value-add.
This is a hybrid role with occasional presence at our headquarters in Mannheim .
Responsibilities include:
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead annual budget and rolling forecast processes within CBS, coordinating with relevant units/teams
- Work with CBS senior management for accurate financial forecasting and variance analysis
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations
- Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with group standards
- Analyze financial data, cost drivers, and conduct gap analysis
- Present findings and recommendations through reports and presentations
- Conduct financial reviews highlighting KPIs and performance insights
- Business Case & Business Value Management:
- Manage long-term business cases and monitor reporting
- Track and report on Business Value Management initiatives
- Support preparation and analysis of investment and change project business cases
- SSC Administration & Compliance, Risk Management, and Tax Transfer Pricing:
- Manage shared services costs, ensuring alignment with agreements and policies
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and controlling policies
- Handle administrative tasks like cost center management and invoice linking
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in finance or controlling
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP), Office 365 (Power BI, Excel), SQL, Tableau, process mining
- Excellent communication skills in English and German; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines
