Reporting to the Market Sector Leader for Property and Investment, the Account Leader will lead long-term, sustainable, profitable growth for Global Key and Emerging Clients headquartered in Europe, with a focus on growing our services related to the design, construction, and operations of their assets. Drive client development, diversification of services, and position Arcadis as a trusted partner.

Client Development

  • Drive overall growth of European headquartered Global Key and Emerging Clients to contribute to the business plan and enable us to meet or exceed planned targets.
  • Directly contribute to cross‑selling and diversification of services to the Real Estate/Infrastructure Investments sector in Germany and globally, Focus areas for diversification include developments across all assets classes with focus on sustainability and others aligned to strategic growth accelerators.
  • Be known as the local point of contact for contractors and partners in Germany
  • Develop a strong and relevant network of contacts across all the Real Estate Investments’ business lines, with a specific focus on business development and engineering teams (construction, concessions and corporate team).
  • Develop a network of contacts with key partner organizations
  • Develop and expand a network of relationships across Operations and Solutions, leveraging these to enable Arcadis to have maximum impact with Investments clients.
  • Represent Arcadis at industry events.
  • Coordinate executive level meetings when required.
  • Prioritize Client Experience (CX) at every client interaction, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and innovation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of pursuit and positioning strategies for key opportunities.
  • Contribute to development of differentiated value propositions for Real Estate /Infrastructure Investors

Project Delivery

  • Provide project sponsorship to key opportunities to ensure client satisfaction throughout project delivery.
  • Inspire and provide a supportive environment focused on growth and accountability. Work with project teams in operations to achieve high performance, growth and personal development.
  • Support identification of key personnel to help deliver upcoming opportunities (internal and external).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with Real Estate/Infrastructure Investment clients
  • Proven track record of developing relationships and winning work.
  • An established network in the real estate/Infrastructure market in Germany.
  • Ambitious mindset with a drive to meet and exceed business targets.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with strong commercial acumen and strategic focus.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships across the client’s operational and leadership teams.
  • Strong ability to position Arcadis as a trusted advisor and partner through innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies to profitably grow client accounts.
  • Significant leadership capability and the ability to inspire multi-disciplinary teams around a common purpose.
