Job Title: Business Development Manager - EV Charging (AC Charging - Domestic/Home Solutions)

Salary Expectations: Up to €65k

Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate sales and market growth for innovative EV charging solutions across Germany.

This role focuses on developing and expanding partnerships within the electrical installer and PV installer network, promoting intelligent charging hardware and smart software designed for domestic/home use through wholesale, reseller, and distribution channels.

While experience within EV charging or renewables is advantageous, the key priority is an existing network and proven success in selling into electrical or PV installer channels as established relationships within the target customer base are what will drive success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and leveraging existing relationships within electrical and PV installer networks
  • Build, manage, and expand partnerships with installers, wholesalers, resellers, and distributors to drive consistent revenue growth
  • Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead generation and solution pitching through to negotiation and closing
  • Leverage existing industry contacts to accelerate market penetration
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies
  • Manage and grow key accounts with a focus on retention and long-term customer value
  • Support customers with product positioning and energy optimisation solutions

Key Experience

  • Proven track record of selling into electrical installers, PV installers, or similar technical trade networks
  • Existing relationships within installer, contractor, or electrical wholesale channels in Germany
  • Background selling electrical products, hardware, or technical solutions (renewables experience not essential)
  • Proactive, self-motivated approach in a fast-growing market
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel as required (HQ based in Munich)

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Understanding of the EV charging, solar, or wider energy industry.
  • Competence in using CRM tools and data-driven sales approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual fluency in German and English.
