Business Intelligence & Reporting Specialist (m/f/d) in Renewable Energies
As a Business Intelligence and Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful, and standardized reporting across the organization. Your primary focus will be on Power BI development, leveraging DAX and Power Query to create robust reports and dashboards that adhere to best practices and IBCS standards.
This is not just about building visuals. You’ll be the analytical mind ensuring consistency and accuracy. You’ll proactively identify discrepancies, trace errors to their source, and maintain data integrity
You’ll work closely with our Data Engineers and BI teams, and collaborate with stakeholders within operations and from various domains such as risk and trading.
Your sunny outlook:
✓ Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX and Power Query
✓ Apply IBCS standards for clear and consistent reporting (a strong plus)
✓ Review and refine business logic in reporting models to ensure precise and reliable insights
✓ Trace and maintain master data, ensuring it is accurate and up to date across systems
✓ Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot inconsistencies across multiple sources
✓ Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure smooth data integration
✓ Act as the first line of defense for data quality, detecting and resolving issues before they reach decision-makers
✓ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights

✓ Proven experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
✓ Experience in designing and implementing data models using star schemas and relational principles to optimize performance and maintain data integrity
✓ Excellent knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, experience in connecting databases is a plus)
✓ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
✓ Familiarity with IBCS standards (preferred)
✓ Ability to work independently and proactively identify data issues
✓ Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
✓ Experience within Renewable Energy Industry is a strong surplus
