The Company

The company is a leading EU-GMP European vertically integrated Multi-Country Operator in the global cannabis industry. Specializing in premium medical cannabis products, they boast the largest and most advanced EU GMP-certified cannabinoid-containing pharmaceutical extract portfolio.

Job Summary

Our hiring partner is currently setting up a distribution company in Germany and is looking for an experienced, results-driven Sales Representative to help expand their market presence. This position will start as a consultant role and transition to full-time once the distribution company is fully operational. As part of the pioneering sales team in Germany, you’ll play a key role in driving product sales and building strong relationships within the German medical cannabis market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Account Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share in Germany. Manage existing customer relationships while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential customers. Stay updated on industry regulations and competitive landscapes in Germany.
  • Order Management: Oversee the entire sales process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely fulfillment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with local sales teams (where applicable) to achieve sales targets and provide necessary support.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the German market. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

Qualifications

  • A network of companies, doctors, clinics, and pharmacies in Germany that you can leverage
  • Proven track record in sales within the cannabis industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals
  • Strong understanding of international trade and logistics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications (CRM, ERP, etc.)
  • Experience working with a large-scale cannabis cultivation or distribution company
  • Knowledge of cannabis regulations in Germany
  • Fluency in English and German

Position Details

  • Salary: Up to €5,400/month
  • Benefits: Company car with a €300 monthly budget, plus phone and computer provided
  • Bonus: Bonus structure to be determined
