Job Description

We are looking for a committed individual to join our Hamburg location, supporting our Food Contact Laboratory in the preparation and testing of consumer goods intended for food contact. The role requires organizational talent, attention to detail, and strong team spirit.

Tasks:

• Contribute to the Food Contact Laboratory in preparing consumer goods intended for food contact
• Simulate the intended use of products in accordance with legal requirements
• Prepare and produce food simulants for subsequent chemical testing
• Organize, coordinate, and carry out tests within the team
• Document work steps and results
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and laboratory standards

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent
• Ideally, some professional experience in a laboratory environment
• Basic knowledge or initial experience with legal regulations in the food-contact sector is an advantage
• Experience working with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is desirable
• Good mathematical skills, particularly for surface area and volume calculations
• Excellent organizational skills and a structured working style
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work closely with colleagues in daily laboratory operations
• Good English language skills (minimum B2)
