Claims Handler

Join us for a 24‑month temporary placement, commencing as soon as possible, at our headquarters in Hannover, Germany. The position is available for full‑time or part‑time work (minimum 23 hours per week).

You can look forward to

• Supporting the Claims Department in day‑to‑day operational activities and contributing to internal strategic projects
• Assisting in the review, assessment, and processing of incoming claims notifications
• Preparing structured presentations, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders
• Contributing to process optimisation initiatives, including reporting, data analysis, and workflow improvements
• Collaborating closely with colleagues across various global offices and gaining exposure to international claims practices

You come equipped with

• A completed university degree in Law, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field
• Initial exposure to (re)insurance – ideally gained through an internship or working‑student position
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and an independent way of working
• Solid analytical thinking skills
• Confident user of MS Office
• Business‑fluent English and German
• Team‑oriented mindset, with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
