Territory Manager – Surgical Devices, Oncology, Eastern Germany

Our client is a European medical device innovator leading the field in reversible electroporation technology for cancer treatment. They are expanding rapidly across Germany and Europe, bringing a clinical-stage product line to hospitals that are still underserving oncology patients with advanced treatment options. We are looking for a Territory Manager to drive business development and sales for their Surgical Oncology technology product line across Eastern Germany, a well established region with growth potential.

Role Description

The role involves responsibility for achieving sales and strategic objectives across your territory through business development and account management of electrochemotherapy and electrosklerotherapy solutions to prescribers in interventional radiology, surgical oncology, dermatology and ENT. You will represent a differentiated, clinically-proven product portfolio, explain advanced treatment options to doctors and hospital teams, generate leads, build relationships, and manage the entire sales funnel from prospect to closed deal. This is a territory development opportunity in a growing market segment where clinical credibility and persistence both matter.

Territory

Berlin metro area, covering Eastern Germany (Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia). Based in East Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new hospital and clinic accounts in an underserved market
  • Manage existing customer relationships across multiple stakeholder levels (physicians, OR teams, nursing, hospital administration)
  • Schedule presentations and deliver product demonstrations with clinical evidence
  • Conduct hospital training and scientific updates for existing and new customers
  • Attend surgical procedures with the products
  • Represent the company at conferences and medical events
  • Develop territory action plans using data analysis and adjust sales approach based on field results
  • Track all sales activities in company CRM and manage the complete sales funnel
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Coordinate with internal sales, marketing and support teams
  • Report to the Country Manager

Must Have

  • At least 2-3 years experience in consultative medical device sales
  • Experience selling technical, explanation-intensive medical products
  • Proven experience working with hospital stakeholders (doctors, clinic administration, supply chain)
  • Strong understanding of hospital purchasing processes and clinical decision-making
  • Native or fluent German speaker
  • Advanced English (business fluent)
  • Valid driving license

Nice to Have

  • Medical, scientific or business degree
  • Background in cancer treatment or interventional radiology
  • Experience in territory development or new account opening
