Summary of the Project / Collaboration Scope:The CMS Senior Developer will lead and execute complex digital projects, supporting the development and optimization of CMS platforms. This role involves hands-on development, mentoring other developers, ensuring coding standards, and maintaining system performance and scalability. Main Responsibilities / Objectives:Lead implementation of complex CMS features and modules.Develop CMS components and templates.Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.Configure and assemble the CMS from a technical perspective.Mentor other developers and provide technical guidance.Ensure coverage of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing; collaborate with QA.Apply secure coding practices and compliance with standards.Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability.Create and maintain technical documentation.Ensure optimal website performance, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility. Expected Deliverables:Component architecture and template structure.Performance optimization and code review feedback.Integration of third-party services and APIs.Coordination of release plans.Identification of technical risks and suggested mitigation strategies.Effort estimation for user stories and tasks. Requested Skills:Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Additional certifications in web development, cloud platforms, or CMS technologies are a plus. Experience:7+ years of professional web development experience.At least 2–3 years focused on CMS platforms.Proven track record in CMS migration, integration, or customization projects.Experience in agile environments with cross-functional teams. Technical Background:Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, TailwindCSS, AlpineJS, Lottie animations). React is a plus.Knowledge of freetextmarkup (FTL) is an advantage.Solid JavaScript fundamentals.Backend development in TypeScript (Nest.js / Node.js) or Java / Spring.Experience with CMS platforms; Magnolia CMS is a plus.Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.Proficiency in Git/GitHub with regular commits, pull requests, and code reviews.Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
