Overview

As a Commercial Project Manager (f/m/d) at Siemens Global Business Services (GBS), you will take on a pivotal role in managing internal and external Siemens projects. By embedding CPM best practices, you’ll ensure smooth execution, financial success, and impactful outcomes across various Siemens business areas.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Taking over full CPM responsibilities and being fully integrated into the customer’s project team.
  • Setting up and executing all required project processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handling projects at any stage of the lifecycle, from project setup to completion.
  • Contributing tailored CPM services to meet the customer's specific needs.
  • Managing commercial operations effectively and embedding best practices in all areas of project finance.
  • Exploring different Siemens business areas, gaining insights into varied regions, functions, and team dynamics.

This Is How You'll Win Us Over

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a comparable field.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Several years of experience in financial planning, project finance and accounting in a project-related setting.
    • Strong grasp of commercial topics, including offer and project calculation with relevant KPIs.
    • Experience with project management processes, ideally processes, and familiarity with the LoA process.
    • or similar project management certification, ideally at C-level.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and tools such as Microsoft Excel, and ideally Power BI.
    • In-depth ERP system expertise, particularly with SAP.
  • Ways of working:
    • High analytical ability combined with a results-driven, solution-oriented mindset.
    • Comfort with prioritizing tasks independently and meeting challenging deadlines in dynamic environments.
    • Strong sense of urgency and an ability to navigate ambiguity.
    • Excellent stakeholder communication and team collaboration skills in international settings.
  • Languages: Business-fluent proficiency in both German and English.
