Solo Recruiters - This is for you
I run Applied Talent Solutions, a headhunting firm with more live roles than I can personally deliver on. I am looking for one experienced, self-employed recruiter who specialises in construction hiring and wants to plug into high-quality roles on a pure revenue share basis.
If you are already running your own micro-agency or working solo but want better roles, higher fees and a proper delivery partner, this is for you.
This is not employment. No basic salary, no retainer, no day rate. It is a partnership where we both win when you close.
CommercialsModel: Commission-only, revenue shareSplit: 50/50Average placement fee: typically £18k–£22kExample: On a £20k fee, your 50 % is £10,000Payment terms: Immediately after client pays (normally no later than 30 days post candidate commencement)Invoicing: You invoice me; I invoice the client
I handle the client relationships, commercials and invoicing. You focus on headhunting, shortlists and closing.
What you will be working onSenior and mid-level construction roles (main contractors, M&E contractors, client-side, cost & project management, etc.)UK and European assignments, often with relocation and expat anglesRoles where fees are meaningful and the bar is high - not £3k transactional noisePredominantly permanent and fixed-term hires, not temp desks
You will own delivery on agreed roles:Market mapping and targeted headhuntingScreening, qualification and shortlistingManaging candidates through process to offer and startUsing my client brand (and/or yours) where appropriate
What I provideA pipeline of live, qualified construction roles that actually moveExisting client relationships and negotiated termsATS / process infrastructure and support where neededA sounding board who has built and led recruitment teams for global brands and now runs an agency
You are not fighting to win the work. That part is largely handled.
What you bringYou are already self-employed (Ltd, sole trader or similar) and comfortable invoicing3+ years recruiting in construction (main contractor, M&E, PQS, client side or similar)You can source and close senior construction talent without being spoon-fedYou are happy working remotely, managing your own time and pipelineYou understand that no salary = high upside + autonomy
If you need hand-holding, a guaranteed monthly pay cheque, or someone to set your daily to-do list, this is not for you.

It is for someone who already knows what they are doing and wants to turn that into serious fee income without chasing BD all day.
