What You’ll Do

• Operations liaison : Lead inventory cycle and ABC count compliance, internal audits, reconciliations as well as inventory reserve analysis and identification of financial risks.
• Drive financial insight and empower decision making : Liaise with FP&A for the reporting of global costs of goods sold, monitoring facility assets, Capex projects and Internal Orders control. Create and analyze reports detailing revenue, costs and margin to support business decisions.
• Ensure financial accuracy and maintain data integrity : prepare quarterly (for corrections) and annual re-roll of standard costs, review and compare actual cost to standard cost, analyze data and prepare purchase price variance analysis and journals.
• Control Variances : Investigate and report on production cost and other general ledger account variances, designing systems and procedures to reduce discrepancies, improve accuracy and drive efficiency.
• Collaborate Internationally : Provide ongoing cost accounting support to production site in Germany and EMEA subsidiaries, ensuring alignment, transparency, and consistency in financial reporting.
• Perform Other Related Duties : Carry out additional responsibilities as required or directed to support departmental and organizational objectives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience in general and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Someone with in-depth knowledge of Accounting Principles and procedures in DEGAAP and USGAAP.
• Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills and be detail oriented.
• Must be proficient with Excel; experience with SAP or large ERP system preferred.
• Must have excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills in English. German is an advantage.
• Must have the ability to complete assignments within the time frame specified and interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
