CSV Engineer (Pharma, PCS 7) – Process Automation | Munich Area (m/f/d)

Position Overview:

We are looking for two experienced CSV Engineers to join a process automation project in the Munich area. The project is English-speaking and focuses on PCS 7 and process automation CSV in a pharmaceutical environment. Strong experience with PCS 7 and a solid background in the pharma industry are essential. Filling line experience and process knowledge are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute Computer System Validation (CSV) activities for process automation projects within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical setting.
• Develop, review, and execute validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, risk assessments, traceability matrices).
• Work with Siemens PCS 7 (must-have) and S7 automation technologies to support commissioning, qualification, and ongoing system operations.
• Ideally, contribute expertise in filling line automation and demonstrate strong process knowledge.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including engineering, QA, production, and IT—throughout the system lifecycle.
• Participate in audits, inspections, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and process automation CSV.
• One senior role (8+ years); one intermediate role (5+ years).
• Demonstrated, strong experience with Siemens PCS 7 is required.
• Solid background in the pharmaceutical industry is essential.
• Ideally brings filling line automation and robust process knowledge.
• Experience with S7 automation systems.
• Proficient in developing and executing CSV documentation and working in cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required. German language skills are a plus, but not required.
