Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Center Europe GmbH (CSC) is an aerospace Joint Venture Company between Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) and MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH (MTU) providing overhaul and repair services, customer support and spare engine sales to operators of P&WC products within Europe, Africa and the Middle East. For our location in Ludwigsfelde (near Berlin) we are looking for a service-focused Rental Event Manager to join our Command Center team in Ludwigsfelde, Germany.

What your day will look like?

You will receive and manage engine rental requests across the EMEA region. Your day will involve planning, problem‑solving, and coordination with internal teams (P&WC Leasing, shop managers, sales, finance) and external stakeholders to ensure prompt, high‑quality delivery of rental services. You will handle day‑to‑day communication with customers, join key CSC business reviews, and provide updates as required. Flexibility, creative problem‑solving, and strong leadership will be essential.

Your tasks

  • Review rental requests for the EMEA region and interact with internal stakeholders, including P&WC Leasing, to find best solutions to meet customers’ requirements, considering allocation priorities, market dynamics, and revenue generation.
  • Coordinate all administrative requirements, draft, negotiate and sign CSC engine rental agreements, and ensure day‑to‑day execution of the agreements, addressing logistics, commercial, and contractual questions, including post‑rental inspections and timely return of assets.
  • Initiate immediate contact for AOG or urgent situations with P&WC organizations to offer fastest return to service when a rental engine is needed; support may require work outside typical office hours, including weekends on a rotational basis.
  • Develop and improve customer relationship through regular, targeted communications during the rental process, documenting interactions and information with CRM from initiation to closure.
  • Act as liaison between internal teams and customers to facilitate issue resolution, including technical and operational challenges, and foster collaboration within the Command Center team.
  • Support financial reporting activities, including payment alignment, invoice management, and accuracy with invoicing generation and monthly reviews.
  • Identify and share recommendations for process enhancements, integration with P&WC Leasing, and ownership of the EMEA market.
  • Propose ideas and projects.

Your profile

  • Successful degree in relevant studies (Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain, Engineering) and/or relevant work experience.
  • Technical interest and knowledge of aircraft engines or aviation industry; prior experience with Pratt & Whitney Canada engine lines is a plus.
  • Good understanding of commercial processes, contractual language and invoicing.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and experience with multiple IT platforms (CRM and SAP S/4HANA).
  • Strong customer service focus, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and willingness to propose process changes and improvements; drive business and take initiative.
  • Positive, dedicated team player, comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Readiness for on‑call services, including outside of typical hours (occasionally).
