Customer Service Specialist Freight Forwarding (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Target potential customers, develop and maintain a customer database and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective customers
• Serve as a primary point of contact for existing clients, address customer inquiries promptly and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensure accurate and timely delivery, monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues that may arise
• Maintain accurate record of sales, customer interactions and revenue
• Generate regular sales reports and forecasts
• Stay updated on industry trends & competitors and identify opportunities of improvement and expansion

Skills And Experiences

• Proven experience in operations as a fundament of customer service and pricing tasks
• Proven experience in sales in the logistics industry
• Proficiency in using CRM and TMS software and other relevant tools
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management
• Excellent communication skills when it comes to handling customers and a good command in English and German
