Cyber Threat Detection and Response ServiceNow SecOps Engineer

Your tasks

• Implementation of new features, functions, and integrations for the ServiceNow Security Operations modules
• Improvement of existing functions and ensuring seamless integrations with other platforms
• Configuration and customization of workflows to optimize security operations
• Development of automated workflows for incident and vulnerability management
• Analysis of security data generated by ServiceNow functionalities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Development and management of playbooks for Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) to optimize the incident response process

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in cybersecurity, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience with the ServiceNow Security Operations modules and ITSM processes
• Extensive knowledge in the maintenance, implementation, integration, and deployment of ServiceNow Security Operations
• Proficient in JavaScript, GlideScript, Python, and SQL for data analysis
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity such as Certified ServiceNow Administrator, CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly valued
• Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving security posture are essential
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form are required
