We are a well-established consulting, technology, and engineering services company leader in ground segment systems and operation services provision for space missions. Our growing cybersecurity division focuses on delivering innovative and customized security solutions, with the aim to provide future-oriented and sustainable solutions for our clients. To support our team, we are looking for motivated individuals (f/m/d) who can bring their skills and experience to the development and enhancement of our security architectures.

What you will focus on

As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in designing, developing, and implementing innovative security solutions. This may include areas such as Zero Trust, AI/ML for threat detection, Cloud Security, Quantum Cryptography, and building Security Operations Centers (SOC). Your activities might include threat modeling, security risk analyses, and defining security requirements for complex systems.

You could also contribute to optimizing SOC processes, developing operational concepts for security infrastructures, and engaging in security analysis, incident management, threat monitoring, and system response. Supporting certification and accreditation processes, or implementing DevSecOps and GitOps frameworks, may also be part of your role.

There is ample opportunity for collaboration with system engineers to ensure a comprehensive security approach throughout system lifecycles. You might assist with policy development, work alongside interdisciplinary teams to uphold security standards and regulations, and adapt to a variety of security projects based on your skills and interests.

Who you are

We welcome applicants with experience in any of these areas, even if not all skills are covered:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a focus on cybersecurity is a plus.
• Some experience in security engineering, both theoretical and practical.
• Practical experience in developing security solutions and architectures, especially in IT security infrastructures.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Knowledge of Risk Management methodologies and tools.
• Experience in designing, operating, or supporting Security Operations Centers (SOC), with hands-on use of SOC tools (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, Asset Management, Ticketing systems).
• Ability to conduct system security analyses and translate security requirements into system designs.
• Team-oriented, responsible, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform trade-off analyses of available tools (COTS) to determine suitability.
• Understanding of the Space Domain, including applications, protocols, CCSDS standards, and ECSS standards.
• Experience with RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety) analysis.
• Programming skills in Python and Java.
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., SSCP, CISSP) or equivalent training are a plus.
