Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer - Entry Level - Munich

Following the rapid growth of our customer base, Darktrace is looking to add a Solutions Engineer to support sales teams and ensure customer needs are met. Fluency in English and German is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre‑sales and post‑sales support, partnering with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to drive revenue growth and product adoption.

Work alongside the sales teams to meet with clients regularly through the full end‑to‑end sales process, being accountable for the delivery of Proof‑of‑Value (PoV) engagements.
Present Threat Intelligence Reports and advice to a variety of audiences, from technical teams to C‑Level executives.
Design and build custom client integrations and define solution architectures.

Qualifications

We welcome applications from candidates with a technical background and experience as a sales engineer in pre‑sales/post‑sales engagements. The role also suits technical graduates with a computer science or related degree who are interested in a challenging customer‑facing technical position.

Strong interest in cybersecurity with solid knowledge of network and security devices/systems (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Firewalls, IDA, IPS, SIEM) and familiarity with TCP/IP and common networking protocols.
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information compellingly.
Ability to work as part of a team in an innovative, fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Ability to build long‑lasting business relationships.
