Data Center Solution Sales - North Rhine-Westphalia (m/f/d)
We are Lenovo, a global technology powerhouse generating US$69 billion in revenue and serving millions of customers in 180 markets. We are looking for an energetic professional to drive sales of our Data Center Solutions and Lenovo 360 for customers in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts, focusing on Data Center Solutions and Lenovo 360.
- Identify potential customers using direct methods such as calling and face‑to‑face meetings, and indirect methods such as leveraging your existing network.
- Develop mid‑to‑long term territory plans in line with sales targets.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closed sales.
- Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
- Consult prospects about business challenges and requirements, and the range of options and cost benefits of each solution.
- Provide sales forecasts for best‑case and most likely volumes over relevant time periods.
- Cultivate strong relationships with third‑party partners to deliver complete solutions.
- Collaborate with internal functions such as technical sales, marketing, and delivery teams.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to extend our value proposition.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales experience in IT infrastructure solution sales.
- Understanding of core data‑center technologies, industry trends, and workloads, including Cloud, Converged Systems, and Analytics.
- Proficiency with MS Office and sales CRM solutions (e.g., MS Dynamics) and interactive tools such as chat, forums, email, monitoring, and other web‑based social media.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a self‑starting, can‑do attitude and high level of self‑motivation.
- Fluent in German and English.
